Juilliard full-scholarship Artist Diploma graduate Yasushi Nakamura is performing tunes from his new trio album 'Hometown', paired with classic literature & original works recitation by The Haiku Guys. Audience members will receive customized Haiku - personalized short poem, after the musical performance as well.

When not touring as a featured vocalist alongside her father, the legendary Bobby McFerrin, Madison McFerrin is busy making a name for herself and has quickly become a force to be reckoned with in the contemporary music scene, infusing old-school soul into the complexity of modern jazz with ease. With only a loop machine, a microphone, and a hypnotizing voice - be ready to get blown away by her astounding talent.

The event will be held at a boutique gallery on Upper East Side with artworks and decór by Mackenzie-Childs, where artist Andy Warhol used to hold his early exhibitions in the 50s.

Winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Grant Award and former bassist for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the eclectic duo Tessa Lark & Michael Thurber is bringing two baby sets of genre-bending bluegrass, jazz, classical, and original works to an intimate musicale on Park Avenue on the Upper East Side. 

Tessa will be performing on her 1683 ex-Gingold Stradivarius violin, on loan from the Josef Gingold Fund for the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis.

Brazilian folk jazz piano improvisation on Hebrew literature

Recently appointed as a faculty member at the New England Conservatory in Boston, Jewish-Brazillian jazz pianist Henrique Eisenmann is performing his own compositions inspired by both of his roots - Brazilian folk music paired with Hebrew text, taking place right by Central Park, few floors above where George Gershwin used to live.

Emerging jazz star Davis Whitfield was joined by brother Mark Whitfield Jr, with acclaimed bassist Matt Dwonszyk as the Maniacs of The Fourth Dimensions. The group presented sets of originals and covers tunes, with the guest appearance of New York jazz guitar legend Mark Whitfield, father of the Whitfield brothers.

In early celebration of Mother's Day, pianist Junko Ichikawa and colleagues presented Johannes Brahms' Horn Trio, written when he was thirty-two in commemoration of his mother, along with other compositions honoring motherhood, including Junko's teacher Seymour Bernstein's, and works by international composers.

A showcase of instrumental and vocal works by Richard Strauss & other German Greats from the Romantic era featuring pianist Joseph Yungen, soprano Elizabeth Smith, and violinist CheHo Lam, taking place right across from the Metropolitan Museum on Fifth Avenue, with food pairing and Deutschen Pasteten prepared by Robin Ferriere.

Through the literary work of Herman Melville's Moby-Dick, flutist Catherine Gregory and harpist Mélanie Genin presented a musical program intertwined with the sea, where "meditation and water are wedded together" (Melville), taking place right across from Carnegie Hall.

Colin Stokes is a New York-based cellist performing and recording extensively in the United States and Europe. His wide ranging interests have led to collaborations with artists from many genres, including Yo-Yo Ma, Rodney Crowell, Olafur Arnalds and Max Richter.

As the winner of the WQXR Classical Comedy Contest at Caroline’s on Broadway, Lipinski performs his innovative program of music & magic in recital halls and with the symphony orchestras throughout the United States.

Steinway artist Sandro Russo receives accolades for his sparkling virtuosity and his playing has often been referred to as 'a throwback to the grand tradition of elegant pianism'. Winner of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra Concerto Competition and among many other international awards, Sandro is joined by his mentor Seymour Bernstein for a night of intimate musical salon.

Starr Doctoral Fellow at The Juilliard School, where he studies with Jonathan Feldman. He is joined by Artistic Director-violinist CheHo Lam for an all-French duo program.
